The iNews site and newsfeeds are scheduled to move to the CalWeb Pro server early Wednesday morning, June 18.
The URL of the new iNews site will be http://inews.berkeley.edu/. The old, port-number-based URL http://inews.berkeley.edu:7077/ will no longer function on the new site, so if you have any links or bookmarks based on the old URL, please update them by deleting the port number :7077.
Users of iNews RSS newsfeeds will need to convert newsfeed URLs according to the following pattern:
- Old: http://inews.berkeley.edu:7077/channels/iNews/main/rss091.xml
- Old: http://inews.berkeley.edu:7077/channels/iNews/main/rss100.rdf
- New: http://inews.berkeley.edu/channels/iNews/main/feed
That is, drop the port number :7077 from the base URL. Then replace rss091.xml or rss100.rdf at the end of the URL with feed.
