The move of the Payroll/Personnel System (PPS) from the Berkeley campus mainframe to that of UC Office of the President (UCOP) was announced in a previous article. At that time, the move date was tentatively scheduled for May 2009. However, due to anomolies discovered during system testing, the migration date has been postponed until August 2009.
No setting changes for HostExplorer or tn3270 are required at this time to access the PPS system. Users will receive their new log ons and passwords closer to the anticipated August system migration.
