The Cal Student Store now offers an in-store computer and printer repair service for campus students, staff, faculty, and departments. A technician is available weekdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Departments can make arrangements for printer repairs to be done on-site at department locations by calling 1-800-672-2734.
The Cal Student Store is located on campus in the Martin Luther King (MLK) Junior Student Union, at Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue. The drop-off location for computer repairs is at the elevator entrance on the first floor, directly next to the computer store.
Warranty and non-warranty repairs are performed by ComputerCare at the MLK Student Union for major manufacturers such as Apple, Fujistu, HP/Compaq, Lenovo, Toshiba, and Sony. For more information, contact ComputerCare, 1-800-672-2734.
Changes for IST computer repair services
The Technology Store for Departments no longer accepts drop-offs for computer repairs. Instead, departments should use the computer repair drop-off location for the Cal Student Store.
IST–DOCS no longer handles hardware repair. Hardware repair faciliated by ComputerCare is now being managed by the Cal Student Store.
