The Berkeley-LBNL collaboration on voicemail service, which incorporates reduced infrastructure costs, has resulted in dramatically reduced rates for campus voicemail service. The new rates are effective October 1, 2009 and apply to current voicemail service subscriptions as well as orders for new voicemail service. In addition, there is no longer a setup fee for voicemail service. Current subscribers will see the reduced rates reflected on their monthly billing statements at the end of October.

Other voice services
As previously announced, rates for voice dial tone services were reduced by 20 percent on September 1, 2009. Rates for the four dial tone service levels are available via the IST shopping cart.
