IST is pleased to announce the Windows ColdFusion Web Farm Service. This service is intended for campus customers who need a redundant, highly available, and secure environment for hosting their ColdFusion application.
- The recharge fee for this service is $112 per application site per month.
The Windows ColdFusion Web Farm Service hosts ColdFusion 8 on two load-balanced servers running the Windows Server 2003 operating system. In addition, these servers include Cisco Security Agent (CSA) and are secured behind a Cisco firewall. The Windows ColdFusion Web Farm service includes the following tools:
- IIS 6.0
- .Net 1.0
- .Net 2.0
- ColdFusion Version 8
- DigisCert SSL Certificate
Similar to IST's other Web Farm services, this service provides development, quality assurance, and production environments. The development site is intended for customers to write and upload their application code. Code changes to the quality assurance and production environments are done via a web-based file migration tool provided by the Enterprise Windows Team. Each environment includes 250 MB of storage space. Additional storage may be purchased at the published recharge rates. Database support from the Database group is also available as a separate service.
