IST is pleased to announce the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) service, a comprehensive change and configuration management solution for the Windows platform. This service is intended for departments needing to assess, deploy, and update their IT systems such as servers, desktops, and devices, across a distributed environment.
The SCCM service offers integrated tools with the following features:
- Asset Intelligence: track hardware and software assets — what they are, who is using them, and where they are
- Software Distribution and Updates: distribute software applications and updates to desktops and servers
- Desired Configuration Management: assess IT systems against established configurations to ensure compliance with desired configuration states
- Operating System Deployment: fully deploy and configure servers and desktops

Technical requirements include:
- Microsoft Windows XP operating system or later

The recharge fee for this service is $329 per month for each SCCM instance. The fee includes five hours of consulting time with the Windows Team.
