Business continuity planning at the University of California, Berkeley got a boost with the latest release of the Berkeley Continuity Planning Tool (BCPT) in June 2007. BCPT, a web-based tool tailored specifically for higher education, helps departments prepare a plan to quickly resume operations following a disaster or any unexpected interruption. Under its former name, Restarting Berkeley, BCPT won this year's Larry L. Sautter Golden Award, and the 2007 National Association of College and University Business Officers Innovation Award. The Berkeley Drupal Users Group (BDUG) is a group of Drupal enthusiasts of all levels that has been meeting monthly since April 2007.
