Commonly Used Word List

This is a list of common words, phrases, and acronyms that are likely to appear in IST publications, showing spelling, capitalization, and hyphenation. You can also search iNews/BC&C to find prior examples of style and usage. But when looking at older issues of BC&C, keep in mind that our house style may have changed since that time. For the spelling and abbreviation of names of campus units, look at the units' websites.
